Basically, what is the purpose of having a user with no application access? What can they do? We work with outsourced development teams, so I was hoping I could give non-user access to their Project Managers so that they can see all the details of the project but not really do anything. I gave one non jira-user PM access as a 'user' role in a project and for that project's permissions, 'Users' can browse the project. Unfortunately, this is not really working as this non jira-user PM is unable to see the project or board.
So what can a non-JIRA user actually do and is there a way to implement what I was trying to achieve?
