Where can I find the dashboard

Question

Where can I find the dashboard.

In the tutorial they say 'You can get to the dashboard from anywhere in Confluence by choosing the site logo at the left of the Confluence header'.

Is it in an app, in a browser, a downloadable envirement? If it's in a browser, I can't see it in my chrome-browser.

Er, I'd have thought that if you're going through tutorials, you would have covered that.  It's a web-application, you can run it yourself, or get someone to run it for you.

And confluence is a program I need to download?

It's the landing page within Confluence when you don't specify any other page.  Think of it as a general "home" page.

Unless your admins have chosen to change it to a specific page, then you'll get the default dashboard.
