how to change workflow of specific project without affecting other schemes

I have a project ABC. it has 3 issue types. I want to change the workflow of task from other workflow. This project shares the same workflow scheme with other projects. how can i change the workflow of this particular issue type of ABC so it wont disturb other workflows.

you can copy the scheme (in the jira settings -> issues -> workflow schemes), edit it and switch the scheme in your project.

A workflow scheme affects all the projects it is applied to. Any change you make will impact every project it is applied to.

1. You need to copy the existing workflow by going to the administrator section -> Issues -> workflows.

2. Modify the required things in the workflow.

3. Associated this workflow to an appropriated project with the issue type. So that it will not impact on any of the other projects.
