If you have ScriptRunner installed, you can use something like

issueFunction in issuesInEpics('issueFunction in portfolioChildrenOf("issuetype = Feature")')

To make the filter more efficient, you can add a "project = XXX" at the start of the JQL, or before "issuetype = Feature"
