How to enable HTML Macro on Confluence cloud

I went looking for this macro per the "Enabling the HTML Macro" instructions and could not find it. Is it no longer available?

this feature is not available for security reason on cloud.

There's a third part add-on if you want to try https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212279/html-macro-for-confluence-cloud?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Are there any plans to make it available in the cloud version without needing an additional paid extension from a third party? If they were able to do it in a way that doesn't cause "security reasons", why can't Atlassian?
