The VP would like to see a "Single View" of two projects

You can see issues from multiple projects on Jira Software classic boards.

create a filter that includes desired project
create a kanban board using the filter
share the board w/ VP

we don't use Classic

Does your recommendation require Creating a Classic Project, then the Board, and feeding the Board via a Filter???

If you do not use classic, then you can still create a filter to choose issues from multiple next gen projects and connect this filter to a Jira Software Board
