I would like to limit the display of comments so users do not have to scroll all the way down to leave a comment when there are hundreds of comments being left. Is there a way this is possible by limiting the comments displayed?

I'm afraid that such a customisation is not possible on Confluence OnDemand but they can always use the key "End" to jump all the way down

If I'm not mistaken this is automatically handled by JIRA:
As far as I can see, it starts as soon as there's 10 comments on a single issue.

Can't costumize this feature. Unless you are using JIRA they will limit it to 10 comments on a single issue.
