Atlassian is changing a number of user-related APIs

I got this email about the GDPR changing and changes are needed to several of my automations. here is a pic of my automation. I read some of the links about how to change but its not the same as what im dealing with and im not sure what needs to be changed exactly.

in my automation is it the "To" part of the message where I have send to site admin and assignee or is it in the body where I have "assignee is: '{{assignee}}" that needs to be changed?

Hey Jon,

This is specifically related to the Automation for Jira Cloud addon.

The Automation for Jira team has helpfully provided a guide to converting smart values in rules to match up with Atlassian's GDPR changes. Based on my understanding of the document, they've already converted the Assignee value in the To field for you and you'll just need to work on the values in the Content portion.

As an example from the documentation, the line you have which reads

 Assignee is: {{assignee}}

will need to be updated to:

 Assignee is: {{assignee.displayName}}
