Create a filter of issues reported by a particular group

Hi,

I wanted to share filters to a group. I have created the group and assigned members to it. But when sharing the filter, I could not see the group I have created.

The groups I could see in the drop down list are: administrators, jira-administrators, site-admins.

What is the best way to limit data visibility for group of users? Particularly users outside of our company.

You can only share with groups you are already a part of!
