Tempo workload schema change influencing past months

I changed the workload schema for a user, and the change seems to influence all past months, which distorts the calculation of the required hours of the past. 

Is there a way to change between workload schemas without influencing past months?

I have uploaded a ticket to support to get a reliable response from Tempo. I'll let you know what they tell me.
