Arsenal Dataplane reporting v2.4 failed after JIRA Software upgrade to 8.0.2

Does anyone know when they will release a compatible version for 8.0.2?

Hi Dawn,

We communicated with you directly on this, but I wanted to post a response here also to help any others with the same question.

The current release of Dataplane is not compatible with Jira 8.x.

We're working on Dataplane Jira 8 compatibility and will email you as soon as a compatible version of Arsenale Dataplane is available. It should be within the next couple weeks.

I just upgraded to JIRA software 8.2.1 and ran update for AD v. 2.4.2 and received a warning the application installed successfully but is not compatible with my JIRA version. the vendor site says it is a compatible version.  I cannot enable the add on

Hi Dawn.  It looks like the Jira Apps Manager prompted you to install the wrong Dataplane version for Jira 8.  You need version v2.4.2-jira8.

Please do the following to solve the issue:

1) uninstall Dataplane v2.4.2. This is perfectly safe, and will not remove any user data (saved reports, Dataplane configuration, etc). All reports will be available again upon re-installation.

2) go to Jira Administration -> Manage Apps -> Find Apps and search for "Dataplane".  It should prompt you to install Dataplane v2.4.2-jira8—the version that is compatible with Jira 8

3) install Dataplane v2.4.2-jira8

You should be off and running now.  If you have any problems, please contact Arsenale Support and we'll help you out.

That resolved the issue.  It was the wrong version.  v2.4.2-jira8 fixed the problem.
