how can external users check the status of their submitted requests through forms?

Anyone who submitted form should have received email about the issue created; if not, they can visit the side and check for the issues wherein user is reporter.

In a software project, they would need to go to the individual issue that was created. Was there no email sent to the user when the issue was created?
