Hello,

Would anyone be willing to share the steps necessary to change my existing hierarchy from Epics -> Stories to Epics -> Features  - > Story

1) I changed the hierarchy type to 1) epics, 2) Features

Do I need change / update the Issue Type Schemes?  Or, Do I have to buy an app that will give me this structure?

thanks

Welcome! This is the details about how you can change issue type hierarchy: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-the-issue-type-hierarchy/

This would be a change that spans the system.

But the other element that you should think about is using the "Parent" field functionality, which brings together some flexible chaining of hierarchy.
