I am beginning my Jira journey and I'm trying to figure how best to keep track of client information for a within specific Space and Board sections; or within the Assets tab?

A few questions about this:

  • Is this for Jira or Jira Service Management?
  • How do you expect to use this Client information?
  • Do you also have Confluence?

Typically, static Client information is better kept in a documentation area such as Confluence than in workflow tools like Jira. But it depends on whether your space is tracking multiple clients, is a service desk or a software or other project management space, whether there is any workflow associated with this client information.
