I just noticed that the word Verification is spelt on the status option bar wrong in Jira, it's written with 2 i . "VERIIFACATION".

That is a configuration that was made by your Jira or Board Admin. Someone with proper permissions in your team should be able to fix that typo by going into Board settings.
From Layout > Columns, locate the column name and correct it appropriately.
This is a fix that can and should be done by someone inside your organisation!
