I was assigned to a project by adding people to the project, admin has added me, but I didn't get any notification, and I cannot open the project page as well.
Not sure the reason.
Hi Jenn - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Is this a Team-managed or Company-managed project?
If Company-managed, just being added to a project doesn't automatically give you access. You need the Browse Project permission also in the Permission Scheme attached to the project. You can have your Admin run the Permission Helper while in the Permission Scheme to see the reason you can't access.
Hi John, thanks for your reply !
The project is a team-managed project as others in our company. I usually add members to a project and then invitations will be sent to users. However, when I was added to this new project, I couldn't get email.
Do you mean if my role is out of the scope for the project browse permission for example, then I will not be able to view the issues?

There is no Permission Scheme for Team-managed projects. Have you been getting other Jira emails from Atlassian? Was this the only one that didn't come?
And I see in the message in your image that it sounds like the Admin did not add you from the Project Settings but another way. This might be a bug. How exactly did the Admin add you.
And to verify - you did not get an email, and you do not have access to the project. Correct?

Yes I didn't have both email and access to view the project. But it turns out that the role I was assigned actually doesn't have the Browse Project permission, I already let the project admin advise my role and it worked finally.
Thanks for your help, John!
