Hi Community,

I am setting up a sub project off linked to a separate project.

I have moved some Jira tickets, however I have lost the link to the original epic.

Problem is the Main Project feeds into release space so I am seeing that when I move the tasks into the new sub project it breaks the link (which impacts release content and history)

I was wondering if anyone in the community had this issue and how they worked around it. I was looking at Clone feature, but when I tested it it creates a new Jira in the original space.

Hi @joanne_henderson

Welcome to the community.

Are you using Company Managed projects, than this should work.

Make sure all related users have the correct permissions to both projects.

Issues in another project can kink to an Epic issue in another project as long as the permissions are correct and company managed projects are used
