Process is:
Backlog --> Requires Review --> In Review --> Ready for Development --> To Do --> In Progress --> Done
There are two Kanban boards, one which handles Backlog to Ready for Development.
Ready for Development is effectively the product backlog for creating sprints, and therefore should be visible on the product backlog (as opposed to sprint Board view where it isn't mapped):
The Board query includes stories in the Ready for Development state; it excludes the prior states (ie. Backlog, Requires Review and In Review):
Previously (before the prior states were excluded in the query), the product backlog showed items in the prior states, but not Ready for Development.
The Kanban board is not configured to show the product backlog, but is aware that there are work items in that status:
Why is the product backlog view now showing work that is Ready for Development?
Hello @David Crowe ,
Good day! Welcome to Atlassian Community :)
I can see "Ready for Development" is placed under unmapped statuses. Can you move the status ( drag ) to any existing column ( To, In progress, Ready for test ) and then see if the work items are visible in backlog now?
Thank you!
Hi Shalini
I don't want them visible in the SPRINT backlog, I want them visible in the PRODUCT backlog.
