Jira for Mac doesn't open on same board after quitting and restarting

Typically when I close Jira for Mac and reopen it, it will launch into the same project I had open last time.

However, I have a "profile board" that aggregates several projects into one multi-swimlane kanban board. For some reason when I close and reopen the app after using the profile board, I have to manually navigate there either by searching for the board's name or by clicking into another project and navigating through the dropdown at the top.

This is really inconvenient since this board is the one I always use.

Testing on my local site, I can see the same behavior. In order to access the personal board, the easiest way is going to Projects where it shows the “Recently viewed”.

Currently, it’s not possible to configure the app to show the personal board on the left sidebar for easy access. Based on your question, I created a feature request suggesting this improvement:
