Hi everyone,

With standard plan, is there any way to set up an approval step or notification when the photo/image uploaded?

or can we create a new notification type "an image/photo is uploaded"?

thank you!

Hi @何采恩 and welcome,

there is not a specific event on file attachment (when you attach something to an issue an "An issue is edited" event will be fired). You have two possible way to put in place that :

  1. you can define a specific issue transition, at workflow level, with a screen with the attachment field and a custom event associated. (you should add a custom validator to check attachment type)
  2. Define an automation like the following in which you can add a check on smart value mimetype {{issue.attachment.mimeType}}
  3. Immagine1.png

Hope this clarify,

Fabio

Hi @Fabio Racobaldo _Herzum_

Thanks for your sharing!

I just defined an automation like this, but there's still nothing triggered when I add a attachment(an image added) in issue comment.

May i know how to fix it? thanks.

Hi @何采恩 ,

issue comment is another event and you can't check, at automation level, if something happens at attachment side.
