Can anyone enlighten me why cant i edit the {message.content} ?

Welcome to Atlassian community and thank you for your post.

I understand that you are adding only the "test" text just for tryinh the behaviour. I checked in a test environment and I can't reproduce the error.

It seems a temporary glitch. Could you try with another browser and cleaning your browser cache?

I can't find any other reason.

ya i tried using a completely different browser and cleared cache. issue persisted 

I certainty hope is a temporary glitch because i couldn't find anything wrong on my main template as well.

Please try in another jira space if it occurs the same and also in a new test space
