How to move multiple test cases within a test cycle, at once?

When adding test cases to a test cycle, you used to be able to check multiple checkboxes and move multiple test cases once, to reorder them.

Now there's a new 'drag to reorder' area and since this introduction, there doesn't seem to be a way to move multiple test cases at once.
Is there an easy way to do this. I like to have newer items at the bottom of the list but Jira seems to like to add them to the top.

The new drag‑and‑drop ordering in test cycles (used by apps like Xray or Zephyr Squad for Jira Cloud) replaced the older checkbox‑based bulk move feature. Atlassian’s current Jira Cloud issue table component doesn’t support multi‑select drag actions, so only single‑item moves are possible in that view. To reorder multiple tests efficiently, the workaround is to sort by a column such as Created or Key, or use the cycle’s “Reorder by” option if your test management app provides one. If you need the newest tests at the bottom, you can sort ascending by creation date before saving the cycle order.
