I am using a company managed project. I would like to create a new project from this existing project so that the following things get copied into the new project
- issue types
- automation rules
- workflows along with the validators
In case this is not possible in a company managed project but is possible in a team managed project, i am open to it.
Thanks
This is possible. :)
Please click on the button to create a new project, then proceed to for example "Software development" (or choose any other) and later select "company-managed".
After that, this screen will pop up:
Here, you can check the box "Share settings with an existing project" and choose the old project you want to copy from.
Hope this helps!
Best wishes,
Mara
I have done this and the automations did not get copied into the new project.
I will try one more time

So i have figured out what is required to get the automations into Project 2.
On Project 1, you need to include Project 2 in the scope field.
Then this method works.
Thanks

No, unfortunately this is only possible for company-managed projects.
If my original answer with the screenshots helped you, it would be a great help for me if you can officially accept my answer. :)
Thank you and best wishes,

No, i do not want the actual issues to be copied. I want the type of issues to be copied over.
