How do I see total remaining estimate in the backlog?

How can I configure my board to show total remaining estimate in the backlog? At the moment, it shows only original estimate, which is not very interesting.

Hi,

The backlog shows estimates based on your board’s estimation setting. If it shows only Original Estimate, you need to change that configuration.

# Simple steps

1. Open your board → click **Board settings**

2. Select **Estimation**

3. Check the **Estimation statistic** dropdown

4. Choose a field related to remaining work (if available)

5. Save and refresh the backlog

# Note

* Time tracking must be enabled

* Remaining Estimate must be populated on issues

* Some boards may only support Original Estimate

Thanks Prasanna, I do appreciate the input, but I do not have access to these settings. I am getting very tired of Jira's inflexibility.
