How can add a blocking bug to multiple xray test cases via bulk change linked issues?

Question

I have 100s of xray testcase which i need to update as blocked by a single bug. How can i perform this bulk operation.

Have already tried it from the bulk operation flow. But couldn't find any solution.

Also found this as unavailable feature. Is there any other alternative.

Welcome to the community!!

The straightforward answer is you can't. No Jira nor Xray have that functionality, and ultimately you wouldn't want that because each Test Case is reusable and only at that specific run, execution or plan would there be blocks to which you can simply add once.

Did you try reaching out to the xray support team?

Perhaps they can help with some API or workaround?

If possible can you share a screenshot of which screen you're trying to transition these TestCases too?Are they part of an execution or are you trying to move the actual Test Case to Blocked status.
