How can I convert wiki markup to HTML?

I am working with the JIRA application and need to convert wiki markup to HTML. I attempted to use the JIRA REST API with the AP.request method, but it does not allow me to access the REST API, and I receive a 403 error.

Can anyone help me resolve this issue?
