Get started with Jira Product discovery

Question

My company uses Jira, I am an admin.

I want to give a try to Jira Product Discovery but I see my user is missing permissions to even create ideas.

I looked into documentation and even a couple of YouTube videos but I don't get how to grant the needed access.

I created a group through Atlassian, but I don't see Jira Product Discovery in the list of Products.

Can please someone guide me?

Or I need to be on a different plan to be able to use it?

Welcome to the community.

As you state in the tags on this question, you are not a site or org admin, just product admin.

As a product admin you can manage the product you have admin permissions to, but Product Discovery is a different product

You need to ask a site or org admin in your cloud instance to enable Product Discovery and grant groups/people access

You have 3 contributors in project discovery on a free tier, otherwise you will need to pay for the product.
