I need to trigger custom email to Project Role users. Is there way to achive this functionality.

there is an open feature request for being able to use project role within an automation rule. In the meantime, here is an article with a workaround you might consider.

If you are open to using 3rd-party applications, our app Notification Assistant for Jira can help you with this scenario.
It allows you to create fully customizable notification schemes and templates, as well as set a wide range of possible recipients (i.e. users, groups, project roles, etc.).
