Hi,

is there any possibility to disable a work type at the create screen without removing the issue type of the used scheme?

These are the issue types for the current scheme:

At the create screen I would like to disable the work type bug:

Hi @Markus.Landsiedler

Issue Type and Work Item are the same thing

Atlassian renamed Issue Type to Work Item, but not everywhere in the tool this change has been populated.

So if you don't want to see an option in the wWork Item field, you will have to remove it from the Issue Type Screen Scheme

Hi @Markus.Landsiedler

If you do require this, the option provided form @Karan Sachdev works or you need to look into 3rd party integrations.

Hey @Markus.Landsiedler

If you want to include a work type in a project, but not allow users to create those work items, you will have to restrict it via validators. Natively, any users who have the Create issues permission can create work items of all the available work types.

You may use a separate workflow for the required work type, where you can edit the existing validator to check for a project permission other than "Create Issues' permission.

Select a permission that's not granted to any users (or given to admins only).

Thanks!
