Automation rules are mostly used to have an action based on the triggers, conditionals and branches. What is your use case and what do you want to accomplish with automation?

Welcome to the community, Happy to have you here. In regards to your query, I definitely agree with Nikola here. In order to help you we need more information of what you want to achieve.

Generally, automation in Jira requires three important points:

* Trigger* Where you configure what/when your automation will start. It could be by schedule or transition change for example

* Condition* Condition for Jira to check before executing the action
* You could also set a branches of condition to configure which action to execute if the condition of the branch is met

* Action* Action for Jira to execute
