Can the new "Subtasks" field/section be removed/hidden from the issue screen?

We don't use subtasks, so this new section adds confusion.

Thank you for your question.

The section sub-tasks couldn't be hidden, but you can disable the work type "sub-tasks" from the projectwork types configuration. Please have a look here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-sub-tasks/
