Blocking users from adding tickets to active sprint other few approved users

Hello Team,

I have a requirement where I want to block users from adding tickets to active sprint. We have few members identified who will be responsible for bringing these tickets into the sprint.
So I am looking for a solution which will help me achieve the above.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you for the response @Nikola Perisic , before I try the above suggestion wanted a confirmation if this will block users from creating tickets and also move tickets to different status.

The goal here is to make sure that all users are able to perform their activities as usual, we are just looking to block them from adding the tickets to the active sprint.

That feature has been requested here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-8964

As a workaround, you can limit the Edit issue permission only for the specific people in your project. You should go with project roles - so the users who need to add the issues from backlog to active sprint need to have this permission, others don't. So, you should also apply another project role but for the users who shouldn't be able to do this.
