Good afternoon,
I am trying to create an automation rule that will trigger when a version is marked as released.
I have the general principle working, so can generate the email and send with basic information within it, so am in the process of trying to make it more meaningful.
I've been able to extract most of the information that I would like using the smart values. The last part I am trying to solve is obtaining the actual release notes confluence page associated with the version under the related work section so that I can include it in the notification:
I cannot find an obvious smart value that would allow me to achieve this. Is this something that is possible, and if so are you able to provide guidance on how to achieve it?
Many thanks in advance for any assistance that you can provide.
Best regards,
Michael
Hi @Michael Weller ,
There are currently no endpoints to add or retrieve resources, like linked Confluence documents, related to a release.
We found the release notes functionality in Jira generally lacking, and spent the last year creating Released, which is available on the Atlassian marketplace.
Released leverages AI to generate your release notes and supports publishing to an embeddable portal, Confluence and Slack. We are currently working on email notifications, which should ship in early August.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Jens

Thanks for the information - looks like it is still not supported.
