Hi everybody,
I am building an automation at a customer's system so that the request type is changed under certain conditions. Unfortunately I cannot select the request type to change to, because no request types are available.
It says: "Failed to retrieve selections, please refresh the page and try again."
Refreshing didn't help. I also checked, if the request type is on the create and edit screens of the work items. :-(

What is the Scope of your rule?
Can you share with us screen images showing your entire rule? And a screen image showing the error message?
Is this a new, created from scratch rule? Or based on a template? Or a copy of an existing rule?

I copied an existing rule, but you nudged me to build it from scratch. And now it works! Thank you very much!

I try to Guess without this Screenshots, it's about Restrictions
edit-request-type-action-fails-in-automation-in-jira-service-management-cloud or or the request type does not belong to the issue type the rule is trying to update.

I rebuild the rule from scratch and now it works! It wasn't the issue type, but I don't know what it was.
