Been trying to find a good way to create an automation where it checks our asset and tell us whenever a supply is low
Hello @Kristoffer
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Please provide more information about your scenario.
How are you keeping tack of the number of items available in your supply?
Please describe your asset schema and explain which objects in it the scenario concerns.
Do you remove objects from the schema to indicate they have been consumed and are no longer available? Does each object include an attribute indicating it is or is not available?
Is there a "parent" object where you keep the number of available child objects?
What quantity constitutes a low supply?
Thank you for getting back!
Right now, we have it set up as a status where it is either Available or Deployed. We just use the filter to determine which are available. Sorry, I am pretty new to getting this setup. Appreciate all the advice and help!

Thank you for that additional information.

What quantity constitutes a low supply? Is it a specific number of objects with an Available status?
How frequently do you expect your supply to reach "low" levels; hourly, daily, every few days, weekly, ...?

Right now, our scheme tree has "Hardware Assets" and under "Hardware Assets" we have Laptops, Printers, Monitors, etc.
We don't have a quantity that constitutes a low supply. We manually just check it by filtering what is available, and pretty much to a point where there is only 2 laptops available, then we order them.
It would be a weekly or monthly thing!
Thank you again for your help and quick response!
