Tracking Request Types and Portal Groups

Question

Portal Groups are "creative, change request, simplycrm etc..." then we have request types under each such as "print graphic, digital graphic etc".

I have not been able to successfully track request type in any of the widgets provided for the dashboard. I'd like a live count of how many of each request type we have.

Additionally, when a ticket comes in, I want it to identify the chosen portal group. So far I can add the request type field in a ticket but that's much more specific. I just want it to pull "creative" rather than "print graphic or digital graphic"

Thank you! Hopefully Jira sees value in being able to track these things more easily in the future. List view is better than nothing but for management to be able to take a quick look at KPIs that matter to them I really need this in a dashboard.

Hi @Brittany Haney welcome to the Atlassian Community! You cannot display the portal group directly on a filter, so the only alternative is to group the request types belonging to one portal group. Example: project = AND "Request Type" in ("","","")
