SaaS Software discovery//onPrem normalization

Hello everyone,

we are currently looking to expand our CMDB and include SaaS software. Is there a 3rd party tool we can use to identify, track and analyze SaaS in JSM Assets?

Also in addition to that, is there a 3rd party tool we can leverage to normalize, categorize and consolidate onPrem software? I had a look into another tools like flexera technopedia, but we want to stay in the jira univers so I would be happy if there is something similar in the space I can use to make our software inventory more usefull and reliable.

Take a look using Assets in combination with Assets Data Manager.

This might provide the options you need.

Hi Marc, we are already using Data Manager to its full funcionalitites but missing the lack of automation in the data manager. SaaS is also not possible to discover using data manager / assets discovery

That depends on the other SaaS.

You can't place this in the Atlassian realm, if other SaaS product don't allow this, or haver the option, you would reach out there if they have option or if this is on their roadmap
