Looking for an automatic translation tool for JSM that complies with European GDPR laws.

I need something that will automatically translate issues, as we have agents who serve customers in multiple countries in their native languages.

Most of what's available ends up storing end-user data and/or storing them outside of the EU (in the U.S. for example).

Atlassian Support recommended (reluctantly, as they don't like to make recommendations) AI Support+ for Jira

Does anyone have experience with this or some other app that fits the bill?

I am not sure what timeline you are on and if Atlassian support was influenced by that, but with the upcoming availability of Rovo across paid Atlassian plans, I think you may have an option available out of the box soon in product.

It's early day, but one of the out of the box agents that comes with Rovo is the Global Translator.

Hi Walter - this may just do it. I'm not clear if they want this yesterday or tomorrow :-) but I'll offer this up as an option. 

I'm still open to suggestions for anything in the marketplace, as we could very quickly get it vetted by security and then start a trial.

Maybe I'll also reach out to Atlassian support again and ask if there's any early access for the solution you've recommended.
