Hello. I am currently on a free trial of the Premium plans for JSM Cloud and Confluence Cloud.
I want JSM customers to be able to view knowledge articles from the Help Center homepage.
However, when I open [Space Settings > Channels and Self-Service > Knowledge Base] in JSM and click the [Try Now] button, the following message appears and I cannot select [Confluence]:
“There are no other available Confluence sites in your organization.”

I thought creating a separate site might allow selection, but I couldn't find the functionality described in the steps and couldn't create another site.

Incidentally, since the articles will contain information that cannot be publicly disclosed, we cannot include public links or similar information in the Help Center.

Is there any way to enable knowledge display from the Help Center?

Hi @suzuki

As org admin of you cloud instance you need to add the product Confluence, you don't need a separate site for this.

To add Confluence to your org, you need to be org admin.

Hi @suzuki here is a Knowledge Base article from Atlassian for integrating JSM & Confluence

That's pretty much what I did and it's working great for me.

Hello @suzuki

Have you double checked if you have Confluence enabled from your side? You can control who can see your knowledge bases:

  • Only Confluence users
  • All logged in users
  • Anyone

You don't want to use Anyone, since it will be exposed to the internet.
