We are setting up a technical support rotation. The goal here is that whenever someone reaches out in a support channel with an alias, the on-call developer will be notified in Slack AND an alert will be created. The reason the alert is important is because it is how we are triggering SMS notifications.
How can I do this?

Have you checked this Connect and manage on-call schedules in Slack?
I believe you can connect your on-call schedule to your team’s Slack channel using the /jsmops oncall command. Then create an alias (like !support) so that when someone uses this alias in Slack, the current on-call developer is tagged automatically. 👀
The thing is, I've only done this integration once (for testing) and it was a while ago, so I'm not 100% about all of these steps.
