External customer seeing statuses of other projects in portal

Hi,
in the personal request overview of our external customer, he sees the statuses of other internal test projects in portal.

Is this solely because of the globally shared customer list - or is it certain setting?

I tested:

-putting him in other organizations
-changing request type visibility settings

and these do not seem to be the cause

Found the right setting which is to set this to "restricted" - but the logic seems this would have to be set in the respective other (test) projects only?
But setting this in the target project only, does not work as it seems

That is correct.

If the Channel Access is Open, then the project where that Channel Access setting is set will be visible to all customers in the Portal.

If you don't want a customer to see projects A, B, and C in the portal, then the Channel Access Setting on projects A, B, and C needs to be Restricted. Then only the customers invited to projects A, B, and C will see them in the Portal.

If your customer should have access to only project D in the Portal, setting Channel Access for project D to Restricted does not make that the only visible project for the customer. Instead, it makes the project visible to only the customers invited to it.

Any project with an Open Channel Access setting will be visible to all customers in the portal.
