Cannot archive Service Management projects. I am on a premium Product plan, I am an org admin and I've added myself as a project admin with the necessary permission roles. I am able to archive Jira Software Projects. There's no project permission for the Archive action, not sure what I'm missing.

Welcome to the community.  If you are certain that your JSM subscription is Premium or Higher (i.e. Enterprise) plan, then you can access the "Settings" icon (located in the upper right of the screen and select "Projects" as the site admins.  In the "Project" UI, click on "Manage projects" option, then select your project (clicking on the "..." symbol associated with the project), you will see the option for "Move to archive" option.

Hope this helps.

This worked. Thank you for your quick reply. Don't understand why under the standard Project List the archive option doesn't show up for Service Management projects but it does for Jira Software projects.

You should contact Atlassian Support on it further. https://support.atlassian.com

Keep in mind that you can be having a premium subscription plan or above for Jira Software application, but your JSM is just at the standard plan.  Those are two separate products.

When you access projects via the Project List UI, it gives you all the projects regardless the products.  Lastly, it is also because you are a site admin, thus you see all the projects.

Best, Joseph
