Can I link issue key to a field in forms?

As in, to generate an issue key based on a form value? If yes, this isn't possible - issue keys are system generated based on the project key, and the next sequential number based on the number of issues created up to that point.

Or are you looking to do something else with this list of keys?

@Nik Seibold I don't think it's possible to link the issue key since the issue key doesn't get generated until after the issue is submitted.

I had this same issue. My solution was:

Create a custom field and link it to a field on the form.
Create an automation rule that
1. when a new issue is created matching the Issue type,
2. re-fetch the issue data,
3. then update my custom field to {{issue.key}}

Works like a charm
