Can I change the look of incoming email requests?

Hi there,

Been looking everywhere for an answer to this. Is there a way to change the way emails import into Jira Issues? Instead of the whole email and pictures being ported into the description field? Even if I can just remove the images from it would help a lot.

I figured out the issue by changing the mail body format from HTML to text. Thank you

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Just for clarity, can you confirm that you are talking about how emails create issues in Jira Service Management projects, vs. Jira Software projects?

And can you confirm that you are using the native email handling functionality, not a third party app?

Are you trying to remove all images so that they won't even be attachments on the created issue?
