📣 Expression of Interest: Closed Beta for JSM Config Promotion

Hi everyone! 👋

We’re excited to announce that we are preparing a Closed Beta for Jira Service Management Sandbox Config Promotion, enabling you to safely deploy configuration changes from your sandbox to production (or from sandbox to a higher sandbox) for key JSM entities.

As part of this early program, we’re looking for customers (primarily in admin roles) who’d like to test who’d like to test and give feedback on the following supported entities:

• Request Types

• Forms

• Assets (Schemas & Object Types)

• Automation Rules

This work follows the same foundation as the Jira Sandbox Config Deployment feature previously announced here:

@Mohamed Hassan is this Close Beta also restricted to Enterprise customers?

If yes, what is the timeline for Premium customers?

Thanks @Mohamed Hassan , we have been waiting for this feature for a long time.

Hey @Lior Pinelis  - apologies for the late response.

It will be available for Premium customers as well, but we’re rolling it out to Enterprise customers first. We made this decision because they typically have multiple sandbox sites, and we’re recommending they initially use it to move data between different sandboxes until the platform is stable. We’ll then enable it for Premium customers.
