Hello,
I am new to Confluence/Jira. I have created a Confluence space with some pages, and a Jira Project (from template Project management).
I can create issue in Jira and insert them from Confluence (with the macro and pick in recent list) or past the url.
When a page is displayed and some text highlighted, I can create a ticket :
But when editing the same page and trying to create a new ticket, I am not able to select the issue type :
I have attempted to create new issue type, new project (team managed or company managed) but without success.
Have I do something bad ? Or it is a limitation from the free plan ?
Any idea/suggestion will nice, thanks :-)
Hi @Alexandre Scherly welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You first need to go to your Jira project and select the Project settings.
Then select Issues > Types
Here you are presented with the issue type scheme used in your project.
To add issue types, you either create a new issue type first or edit the issue type scheme and drag one or more of the available issue types to the issue types for the current scheme.
This should allow you to select a different issue type from your Jira macro in Confluence.
Thanks for this fast answer :-)
I have added issue types to the scheme of the project. I can select types from viewing, but from editing I can't...
