×Question 1:
Is anyone else experiencing this issue that a new table always has Cell 1 (of a Header) not marked in Bold? (See attached screenshot).
Couldn't find a bug in JAC.
Question 2:
How do I submit this report to JAC? I am stuck in an endless bs loop with the AI Support. Once building out a really nice Issue Report (good AI!) it takes me to JAC and all support links in JAC just take me straight back to Support chat (bad AI!)
Noteworthy: I just wasted up to 20min on the AI Support Chat, when something is clearly looking like a bug, and I am still stuck at Step Zero: "As a Confluence I want to submit a Support Ticket into JAC so I can understand if this is a Bug and when it will be fixed, or if it is a local issue"
--------------
Issue Report:
Summary:
First cell in table header not bold when creating new tables in Confluence Cloud
Environment:
Confluence Cloud (Standard)
Occurs in the new cloud editor
Steps to Reproduce:
Create a new page in Confluence Cloud.
Insert a new table using the toolbar or /table command.
Begin editing the header row (first row).
Observe the formatting of the first cell in the header row.
Expected Result:
All cells in the header row should be bold by default, indicating header formatting.
Actual Result:
The first cell in the header row is not bold, while the rest of the header cells are bold. This happens consistently with every new table created.
Impact:
Causes visual inconsistency and confusion for users.
Requires manual formatting adjustment for every new table.
Additional Notes:
Issue occurs regardless of browser or pasted content.
Screenshot available upon request (unable to attach via this form).
Workarounds Tried:
Manually applying bold formatting to the first cell (works, but not ideal).
Related Issues:
No existing JAC ticket found for this specific issue.

How the chat wasted my time:
Hey @Fun Man Andy
FYI - I cannot reproduce this on several sites (running different plans).
That chat experience, though...
Regards from Germany,
Thorsten
@Fun Man Andy I also cannot reproduce this. When I add a table, the first row is automatically a header row and the text in that first cell is automatically bold.
I tried setting the table to not have a header row—the text in the cell is not bold because it's a regular cell. When I set the table to have a header row again, the text remained not bolded, but I was able to select it and make it bold.
I don't do AI anything, and your experience only reinforces what a waste of time it is.
