Question

Title: Sticky note content replaced with "c" when dragging on whiteboard

Description:
When I drag/move a sticky note on a Confluence Cloud whiteboard, the sticky note's content is overwritten with the single character "c". This happens consistently regardless of:

* Browser (Chrome, Firefox all affected)

* Input method (Chinese IME on/off, pure English keyboard layout)

* Keyboard shortcuts enabled/disabled

Steps to reproduce:

* Open a whiteboard and create a sticky note with some text

* Click the sticky note and drag to move it

* Observe: content is replaced with "c"

Expected: Sticky note moves without content change
Actual: Content is replaced with "c"

Does this still appear to be an issue? Have you checked with your colleagues and/or Confluence admin if they can replicate it? 👀

As for troubleshooting, you could try something like this:

* Hard Refresh: Perform a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5 or Cmd + Shift + R) to clear the centralized @canvas/input event queue and reset the state machine.

* Disable Shortcuts Temporarily: Open the Question Mark (?) icon in the top right, select Keyboard shortcuts, and toggle them off to see if the "c" character injection stops during drags. (I realize you already tried that...)

* Check for Layered Objects: Ensure the text is not a separate Text object layered on top of the sticky note. If they are independent, dragging the note might trigger a focus event on the underlying canvas or the note itself, causing it to accept shortcut inputs.

I'd also recommend changing the device (just to test it out). Potentially there's a key lock or something in that direction 🤔

I am not able to reproduce this issue.

Is it still an issue in your end? Are others in the confluence site also impacted?
