No option to create spaces and No Personal Space - help?

I have Confluence and I've looked in the documentation but cannot figure out why I have neither a personal space, nor the option to create spaces. I can only create pages within the spaces I'm a part of. Any assistance would be appreciated, I've included a screenshot below for reference. This is the menu under my profile icon, you can see the Personal Space field is missing

welcome to the Atlassian community!

If you can't create personal or other space, probably your user has not the right global permissions. There's a specific permission for Personal Space and another for creating spaces.

Welcome to the Community!

You won't have the option to create a personal space if you already have one, or the admins have blocked it.

Create (main) space permission is a global setting - you need to be in a group that has the right to create spaces.

To get this permission, you will need to talk to your administrators.
