Does anyone have confluence pages that jump and/or have a big delay when editing?
This seems to be worse since pages are updated to the new editor so would be great to know if anyone has any performance improvement suggestions
Can you provide some more information about the pages that are having this behavior. What type of content is on the pages? Does it happen with all pages or just some? Are these pages really large?
I am not sure how I can quantify the size of the pages, but it feels like it is constantly trying to load the page, which means when typing notes/editing the page it is very unresponsive and often misses half of what you type.
I find this happens on pages which I am doing meeting notes shared with restricted users — which include basic text, links to other docs and actions from past weeks notes.
This didn't happen so much with the previous editor
— I have found it is improved a bit when turning off the Grammarly extension.
— also removing any links which create a macro e.g. a link to a google doc, as this has a crippling effect on the page.
However despite these slight improvements, I have had to split off old content into an archive page, otherwise, it makes adding to the existing page almost impossible.
Any suggestions to help improve performance is welcome.
Cheers
Anna
